LEVEL TOKYO

KROSS LEVEL TOKYO

The Tokyo Olympics are the goal of many athletes. In order to provide the riders belonging to the KROSS Racing Team with the most advanced bike possible, we created the Level Tokyo. Maja Włoszczowska, one of our national sports treasures, helped us create it. She gave us tips on geometry and how it should behave under different conditions. Kross Level Tokyo features top-class components and original design inspired by the struggles of modern samurai in the country of cherry blossoms.

The KROSS Level Tokyo is a refreshed edition of the bike that is to accompany the Olympic Games in Tokyo (due to the epidemiological situation - they were not held on the original date in 2020). We coated the frame with new paint and improved many small details that contribute to pleasure and comfort of riding a bicycle.

Without compromises

To design the Level Tokyo we sat down together after the Olympics in Rio. We spent thousands of hours on it to help our riders reach the top of the podium. Therefore, to create the frame, we used carbon T784, RockShox Recon shock absorber and high-quality Shimano SLX M7100 components with a single-row crank and twelve gears on the cassette. We also equipped it with Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes and WTB STP i23 rims with the diameter of 29 inches and an internal width of 23 mm. They are adapted to the installation of tires in the tubeless system. To ensure the best riding properties even in the most difficult conditions, we fitted the bike with 2.25" Schwalbe Rapid Rob K-Guard tires.

To conquer Japan

Carbon T784 is a combination of three types of carbon fibers - T700, T800s and M40J bonded together by the best conventional resin. Frames made of this material are very durable and rigid, making it easier to overcome difficult segments on racing cross country routes. The Rockshox Recon RL shock absorber with 100mm travel is design that will be suitable for all conditions. The handlebar includes the shock absorber lock shifter enabling its stiffening with one finger. Thanks to this, you will not lose valuable watts on flat sections - we give you control over how the bike should behave. Shimano SLX M7100 has 12 gears in the rear with a huge range of 10-51. In combination with a 34 tooth cog mounted to the crank with an integrated axle, it is possible to achieve high speeds on flat sections and descents, and stay on the saddle even on the steepest climbs. Perhaps our Kross Level Tokyo mountain bike will not win a gold medal for you, but it will definitely help you fight for the highest podium levels.

Size female or male?

Selected KROSS models are available in both women's and men's versions. How to tell the difference between these versions? Women's sizes / frames are distinguished in the frame selection table ('How to choose the frame size') with the letter "D" preceding the letter with the size, for example DM (17 ') 28 "means a bicycle for ladies in size M with a frame size of 17 and wheels 28 inches. Sizes without the preceding letter "D" usually mean a male size or (depending on the model) universal size (e.g. MTB / MTB XC models and others)

How to read frame geometry tables?

M (19 ') 29 "- such an entry means: M - frame size expressed in the symbol, 19' - frame size in inches, and the value 29"- means the diameter of the wheel (rim, tires, tubes) also expressed in inches (usually 26, 27.5 and 29 inches for MTB bikes and 28 inches for trekking, city or road bikes)
