KROSS EARTH 2.0

Mountain biking, especially when thinking about XC known for its World Cup routes, creates completely new challenges for riders as compared to a few years ago. Therefore, to support you both during MTB marathons and in classic XC rounds, we have created the KROSS Earth 2.0. We wanted to create a universal bike that will be ideal for any terrain, wherever you take it.

2021 is a change of the components for the KROSS Earth 2.0 model. This year we chose high-quality Rockshox shock absorbers and Shimano SLX M7100 components working in the 1x12 system. Thanks to the support of the 10x51 cassette, you will experience a completely new quality when riding on steep climbs and the possibility of tightening on the descent.

Full suspension

The XC bike does not face the same challenges as it did a few years ago. Race routes are becoming more and more difficult and technical, drawing inspiration from routes that have been associated with the world of enduro. That is why at KROSS we decided to evolve our XC bike models into modern machines for overcoming difficult sections of the route. That is why our competitors are more often deciding on full suspension bikes for technically difficult races and marathons. The Kross Earth 2.0 uses Rockshox suspension, a frame made of superlite aluminum, a trunnion system and proven Shimano components. This will make it possible to overcome the challenges of any route.

Racing components at affordable prices

The KROSS Earth 2.0 features the latest Shimano SLX drivetrain operating in the 1x12 system. Thanks to the use of a completely new design of the rear derailleur, it has become possible to use a cassette with a 10/51 tooth span. The efficient clutch and the special design of the teeth on the top of the crank minimize the risk of the chain falling off while riding in rough terrain. The Trunnion system is a modern way of attaching the rear shock absorber to the frame, making it shorter, while maintaining the same travel value as classic solutions. As a result, the Rockshox Deluxe Select + RL damper provides the highest quality experience from each ride. The front shock absorber is an air Rockshox Recon Silver RL with 100 millimeters of travel. The handlebar features a lock shifter for stiffening the shock absorber and helping in effective pedaling on flat sections of the route.To ensure the highest-quality traction, even in the muddy conditions, we have equipped the 29-inch wheels on WTB STi23 rims with Schwalbe Racing Ray and Ralph tires, proven on many routes. They will provide excellent traction even in the most difficult conditions. The KROSS Earth 2.0 frame is made of superlite aluminum. Due to thermal treatment, this alloy is characterized by increased stiffness and resistance to overloads, while maintaining low weight.
