KROSS ESKER 7.0
In our offer of gravel bikes, you could already find aluminium structures and those designed for lovers of classic bicycles made of steel. However, it's time for you to meet the new member of the Esker family. The KROSS Esker 7.0 is a gravel bike that is fully made of carbon. This made is possible for us to create a bicycle that combines the love of small and large trips with the sporty nature of road bikes. The KROSS Esker 7.0 will allow you to experience the charms of forest expeditions, during which you will appreciate the excellent vibration damping thanks to its carbon frame. A love for cycling has never been so light and charming.
Expedition bike powered by Shimano GRX
When creating a new member of the Esker family, we focused on Shimano GRX equipment designed for gravel bikes. Thanks to this, regardless of whether you are riding on smooth asphalt or bumpy, forest paths, your ears will not be disturbed by the sound of the chain hitting the chainstay. This is due to the special design of the Shimano GRX RX812 rear derailleur equipped with a clutch that provides optimum chain tension.
The single-row crank and 11-speed cassette makes the drive easy to use. Due to that, concepts such as chain crossing or front derailleur trim will not bother you. The hydraulic Shimano GRX group disc brakes provide accurate modulation of braking force. Thanks to the completely redesigned brake levers as compared to road bikes, it is easier to operate the shifting lever and the brake while riding on technically difficult terrain. To create the wheels in the KROSS Esker 7.0, we used high-quality DT SWISS G540 rims with an internal width of 24mm. They are characterised by high resistance to damage and low weight. In combination with the 40 mm wide Schwalbe G-One Allround tubeless system tires, they create the perfect set for riding in all conditions. The Fizik Alpaca Terra seat, designed for gravel bikes, is responsible for comfort of riding.
Carbon craze
The KROSS Esker 7.0 is not the first carbon bike we have produced. We have been working with this material for many years, thanks to which we know perfectly well how to arrange individual layers of carbon fibre to obtain a damage-resistant, rigid and vibration-absorbing frame. That is why we used T784 carbon for its production, which is a combination of three different fibres that ensure the best experience with every ride. The frame and fork have been prepared for the installation of flat mount brakes, which improves the aesthetics of the bike. Many cyclists will certainly be pleased with the cables being hidden in the frame, making it easier to keep the bike clean. This will certainly come in handy with the extremely beautiful high gloss purple and silver painting.
